I am honored to serve on the South Amboy Board of Education as both a parent and an educator. As a parent, I want every child to receive an education that challenges them academically, supports them socially and emotionally, and helps them discover their unique strengths and interests.

Professionally, I have spent more than 20 years working in public education as an English teacher, coach, mentor, and advisor. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Montclair State University and a Master of Science in Educational Technology from Ramapo College. Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand the profound impact that dedicated teachers, supportive families, and strong schools can have on a child’s future.

Serving on the Board of Education allows me to bring both a parent’s perspective and an educator’s experience to the decisions that shape our schools. I believe that while academic achievement is important, education should also help students develop character, creativity, resilience, and a sense of civic responsibility. Every child deserves the opportunity to feel valued, challenged, and connected to their school community.
