Maribel Aquino is committed to serving the students and families of South Amboy with integrity, consistency, and genuine care. As a small business owner, bilingual professional, and educator within the community, she understands the challenges working families face and brings a grounded, solutions-focused perspective to every decision. Maribel's strengths include thoughtful listening, accountability, long-term planning, and a deep respect for diverse voices — especially those of Hispanic and immigrant families. Currently pursuing a PhD in Positive Psychology, she is passionate about environments where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Maribel has been a resident of South Amboy for 23 years and her son is a 2025 graduate of South Amboy High School.
