Gabriella Grande Perez is a lifelong South Amboy resident who is deeply passionate about community advocacy and public education. She currently serves as a Constituent Service Representative for New Jersey State Senator Joseph Cryan in the 20th Legislative District. In this role, she serves as a direct liaison between the community and the state government, helping to resolve their everyday government-related concerns.

Her dedication to public service is backed by highly competitive federal experience. She spent a summer in Washington, D.C., interning with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), where she gained insights into large-scale program administration. She also served as an intern for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) U.S. Trustee Program, supporting federal attorneys with legal and financial compliance for bankruptcy cases.

Her commitment to educational governance is backed by direct board experience; she was elected by her peers to serve as the Student Representative to the Middlesex College Board of Trustees for the 2023–2024 academic year. In this role, she participated directly in college leadership meetings and advocated for the needs of the student body.

As a proud K-12 graduate of the South Amboy school system (Class of 2021), her commitment to education is personal. She went on to earn her Associate degree in Political Science from Middlesex College and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law from Montclair State University. Blending her local roots with a strong foundation in public policy and legal oversight, she brings a collaborative, compliance-minded, and community-first perspective to education governance.
