Congratulations on the successful completion of another
out standing school year! Together, our students, staff, and
families demonstrated dedication, resilience, and a
commitment to growth throughout the 2025–2026 academic
year. As we begin our well -deserved summer break, we take
pride in the many accomplishments and milestones achieved
across our district.

SOUTH AMBOY, NJ — The City of South Amboy has officially passed Ordinance 2026-02, establishing a comprehensive new regulatory framework for the operation of low-speed electric scooters and bicycles within the municipality. The ordinance aims to balance the growing popularity of electric micro-mobility with the safety and well-being of riders, pedestrians, and motorists. While the ordinance regulates electric micro-mobility across the City, the primary purpose of the ordinance is the protection and safety of children and young people.

As we move through the winter season, I would like to thank our students, staff, and families for their flexibility and understanding during periods of inclement weather. Due to the weather-related closures we experienced, South Amboy Public Schools has now utilized all allotted emergency days built in to the 2025–2026 District Calendar. We will continue to monitor conditions closely and will communicate promptly should any additional adjustments become necessary. Our priority remains ensuring the safety of our school community while maintaining instructional continuity.
