7th HONORS MATH

Congratulations!! You found it to my webpage for 7th Honors Math! Be sure to save this link in your favorites, so you can revisit here often.  It is in a running blog style, so it may be a good idea to print things out if you find them important (like the grading policy), if you want to avoid having to search for it in the future. You will be able find most everything pertaining to this course right here!! As always, feel free to email me often with any questions, comments or concerns: ggundrum@sapublicschools.com.  If you do not hear from me within 24 hours, barring a Friday email, something went wrong and please resend after double checking the address.  I usually reply within the hour though... Good Luck!!

5/30/17 Assign #16 & the rest of the way...

posted May 30, 2017, 7:48 AM by George Gundrum

I have attached Assign #16 below.  The last few topics will be areas & circumferences of circles, areas & perimeters of polygons, and the Pythagorean Theorem.  There may be one more Quiz on that prior to the final, but time will be a factor. ALL OF THESE TOPICS WILL BE ON THE FINAL EXAM!!

DO NOT FORGET APEX!!

5/10/17 The next 8 or so days of class....APEX!!!

Here are the assignments for the next week or so in advance, in case anyone wants to get a jump.

I will break the section up into 2 different quizzes to allow for time.  1st Quiz will be next Wed 5/17 on Solving Systems of Equations using graphs, substitution and elimination, mainly.  The 2nd Quiz will be two days later, Fri 5/19, on WORD PROBLEMS for Systems of Equations.  These tend to take a little longer so there will only be 4 questions.  Most likely only 1 quiz before the Final after these two.

DO NOT FORGET ABOUT APEX!!!!!

5/9/17 School-Issued Progress Reports, and other points of interest...

posted May 9, 2017, 6:15 AM by George Gundrum

Yesterday, school-issued Progress Reports became available through Genesis, so be sure to check that out. EVERYTHING that needs to be graded currently is up to date (there are no submissions from any student in my inbox at this time).

APEX is technically not due until the end of the marking period BUT, I figured of the 8 or so assignments that are to be done, about half of them should have been by now (since this is the midpoint).  I put zeros in for any of those that has not been finished, so there are no surprises at the end of the marking period.  They need to keep up with their stuff...  APEX can be done in my room as I have chromebooks available before or after school.

We are about to begin Systems of Equations, so it could be a tough topic. As always I am here in the am and after school for anyone who needs help.
