Intramural Hockey will take place today after school. The games will be, Tombstones v. Knights at 4. And the Tornadoes v. Sharks at 4:45

The Spring Music Concert is coming up! Come out to support your musician friends on Thursday, May 25th, at 7:00 PM. Don't forget, it's free for all students!

South Amboy Middle High School Student Council car wash will take place on Wednesday, May 24 from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Board of Education parking lot.

Student Council General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, May 24, in the Media Center at 2:40. Car Wash will follow the meeting at 4:00.

"The results from hockey are.  The Knights lost their first of the season 7-2 to the Sharks.  The Sharks were led by  superstar performances by Alan Kazar and JT Stephens.  The Tombstones and Tornadoes fought a close battle, with the Tombstones winning 3-2, led by Jacob Ross. 

The next games will be Thursday with the Tombstones v. Knights at 4. And the Tornadoes v. Sharks at 4:45"
Tonight only, the first ever Music Solo concert is happening in the auditorium! See your friends perform solos at 7 PM tonight!

8th Graders attending the Formal: The South Amboy YMCA is having a Lock In for 8th graders who are interested; it will happen right after the Formal at 10:00 pm running until 8:00 am Saturday, June 10th. A copy of a flyer with information about the Lock In can be found on the Principal's Page on our school website. A copy was also emailed to all parents with the Principal's weekly "What's Happening at the MHS" email. This program is run by and through the YMCA. For more information or to sign up, you must contact the YMCA.

Tuesday, May 23, is Mr. Jenner's last concert at the elementary school because he is retiring this year. All elementary chorus alumni are invited to perform a final song with him. If you are interested in singing, plan to attend the rehearsal on Monday, May 22 at 3:00 PM. See Ms. Alcuri if you need more information.

The results from hockey are in!  The Knights defeated the Tornadoes by a score of 9-1.  The team was led by John McCleery with with 4 goals. Mackenzey Buczek, Nick Charmello and Manny Pina also chipped in with goals.   In the second game, the Tombstones defeated the Sharks 4-1.  Philip Joks led the team with 2 goals with Jacob Ross and Bryan Pena adding to the scoresheet.

Juniors- there is another SAT date added. Testing will now be available in August. Also, the deadline for the ACT is Friday, May 19th, for the June test. For more information or help registering please see your school counselor.

Seniors please bring your college acceptance letters or share your post secondary plans to Mrs. Affriol in the Guidance office.

There will be Hockey games on tomorrow in the gym. The 4:00 game will be the Sharks v. Tornadoes.  The 4:45 game will be the knights v. the Tombstones.  Come out to play or support!

Attention all Honor Society members!  If you are planning to attend the dinner on Tuesday, May 23rd at the AOH, we need to have your permission slip today.  Please hand it in to an adviser ASAP!

The Prom last night was terrific; another great event. A thank you to our students for being perfect ladies and gentlemen. A thank you to our advisors and chaperones for making it happen.
