Middle High School >
Welcome back to school! Wishing all a happy and healthy school year!
Please submit your 6th grade student's vaccination update to the school nurse. TDaP and Menactra (meningitis) vaccines should be recorded. The State of NJ requires these vaccinations for 6th graders. Please call or email me if you have questions or concerns.
Sports Physicals- are required for all students who will try out and/or participate on our sports teams. They must be of the State of NJ paperwork which can be downloaded from the Athletics/Athletic Packet Forms on this website. Please make sure the MD puts his stamp on it. A copy should be retained for your records.
Flu shots are available at most Pediatrician offices. Please consider obtaining one for your child. Flu shots are optional. It's your personal decision.
March is :
NUTRITION MONTH- Give up soda and drink water instead! Eat more fruits and vegetables.
CATARACT AWARENESS MONTH- Remember to have your annual vision exam! Cataracts can affect you at
any age, but in particular, senior citizens.
POISON PREVENTION MONTH- In the U.S.A. call 1(800) 222-1222 for information and advice regarding
poisoning or overdoses. Seek help immediately.
TIP OF THE MONTH: Remember after an illness, especially strep, throw out your toothbrush. Toothbrushes can
harbor germs and re-infect you. If they're stored in close proximity to other tooth-
brushes your germs could make other family members sick too. Buy a new one!
