Anti-Bullying Awareness Month

posted Oct 16, 2017, 8:20 AM by Michael Elson

To the parents and guardians of our students here at South Amboy Middle/High school, Throughout the month of October, I have had many students assist me with our theme of Anti-Bullying Awareness. We placed a blue ribbon on every locker to signify that we are all united in our stand against bullying, posters have been made for the M/HS entrances, announcements have been made every morning with various anti-bullying quotes (most of which came from faculty members), and last, but certainly not least, we have made announcements during our lunch periods as reminders of how important not only the month of October is, but to continue this unification throughout the school year. Our theme of anti-bullying awareness will not end on October 31st. I have had students pledge to me that they will continue this awareness throughout the school year. As an anti-bullying specialist and the advisor of the class of 2023, I pledge to do my very best to serve your child to the best of my ability here in the South Amboy school district. If you have any suggestions, ideas, concerns, etc. please do not hesitate to contact me at 732-316-7668 ext. 3231 or via e-mail at jgonsalves@sapublicschools.com. Have a great month and an even greater school year! - Mr. Jared J. Gonsalves
