Your Student's PSA Could Save Lives

Operation Prevention, an initiative brought to you by Discovery Education and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) aims to stop the epidemic of prescription opioid misuse and heroin use by educating students about the science behind addiction and its impacts on the brain and body.

The Operation Prevention Video Challenge encourages high school students to use their power of influence to impact this epidemic among their peer group by creating an original 30-60 second Public Service Announcement. Winning PSAs will air on Discovery networks and across Discovery Education's social media platforms. There is only one month left to submit a video to the challenge. Encourage your students to make a difference!

By entering their video, students will be eligible for scholarships from the DEA and the DEA Educational Foundation:
  • First Place: $10,000 Scholarship
  • Second Place: $5,000 Scholarship
  • Third Place: $1,000 Scholarship
  • People's Choice: A VIP trip to Quantico, Virginia for an exclusive tour of DEA training.
