Our school media center is in the beginning stages of creating a makerspace area for you to widen your creativity and be inventive. Come to the new makerspace area located within the media center on the middle school side. We currently offer adult coloring books, colored pencils and crayons, various puzzles and computer game building. Participate in group or solo activities. Come check out the makerspace and look forward to more exciting makerspace projects to come in the fall of 2016, where you can invent, create and have fun.   • Jack Lukie wins GMC Freshman Track Championship Jack Lukie won the 800 meter GMC Freshman Track Championship on May 25, 2016. Jack's win adds to a growing list of accolades for the South Amboy High School Track team. Congratulations Jack!

    Question of the month for May: What country has a national anthem that does not contain the name of the country in any form?
    Our school media center is in the beginning stages of creating a makerspace area for you to widen your creativity and be inventive. Come to the new makerspace area located within the media center on the middle school side. We currently offer adult coloring books, colored pencils and crayons, various puzzles and computer game building. Participate in group or solo activities. 
    Come check out the makerspace and look forward to more exciting makerspace projects to come in the fall of 2016, where you can invent, create and have fun. 
    The Safety Ambassadors will attend the Middlesex County Recognition Luncheon at Robert Wood Johnson Univ. Hospital on Wednesday, June 1st. The bus arrives at 10:30 and returns at the end of the day. Wait to be called down.
    Thank you to everyone who came out to the car wash. We appreciate the support from everyone who either assisted with washing the cars, and those who came to have their vehicles washed. Our scholarships would not be possible without everyone's support.
    The next Student Council Executive Board Meeting will be on Tuesday, May 31 at 2:40 in Mr. Hughes's room.
    The next Student Council General Membership meeting will be on Wednesday, June 1 in the Media Center. All grades please report by 2:45. We will be voting on scholarships.
    Juniors: You and your parents are asked to respond by June 10 if you are interested in attending a senior trip to Florida next year. A deposit of $200.00 is due by June 10. We need to have enough students interested to make it worthwhile. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Housman.
    The High School Safety Ambassadors successfully completed their Safety Lessons to all Second Graders. Our 10 students will attend a Middlesex County Recognition Luncheon hosted by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital on Wednesday, June 1st.
    Concert today during period seven for all grades. You will be called down for the show.

    There will be a GSA meeting today directly after school in Ms. Coppola's room.
    The Student Council Scholarship Car Wash will take today 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm at the Board of Education parking lot.
